Melissa Infusino, Chief Program Officer
Melissa Infusino serves as the Chief Program Officer for the LA Fund. In that role, she serves as the principal liaison to the Los Angeles Unified School District and the region’s wealth of partners to create and manage innovative and scalable programs for the Fund. Prior to her role at the Fund, she served as Director of Partnerships in the Superintendent’s Office where she was a leader in creating innovative paths to generate new revenue including a district-wide sponsorship program. She also worked with both the philanthropic and corporate sponsor communities to create and nurture relationships which generated millions of dollars in new revenue to support key district programs. Prior to working in the Superintendent’s Office, she served as School Board President Marlene Canter’s chief of staff, leading a team of five staff and serving as the Board Member’s key political and policy advisor. She has more than 10 years of experience in government and public affairs. Melissa Infusino earned a B.A. from Loyola University of Chicago and an M.P.P. from the UCLA School of Public Affairs.
